微软将在PDC大会上谈 Windows 7、Windows Mobile5月29日国际报道 美国当地时间周二公开demo（示范）的Windows 7 时间很短，但还不错，只是开发人员若真想实际感受一下，可能还得等到10月份在旧金山举行的开发者大会才行。 Windows 7与多重触摸将会在届时的专业开发者大会（Professional Developers Conference）上成为主要重点；PDC大会自2005年便已停办，当时Vista还在开发阶段。微软也计划会谈到移动方面的发展，所以及可能提及Windows Mobile 7，不过公司还不肯说得太肯定。 Ray Ozzie将会有一场主题演讲，届时也会有比较全面的Live Mesh beta测试，并对整个服务作为提出更清楚的说明。 微软目前透露出的部分场次包括Developing and deploying your first cloud service与Scalable, Available Storage in the Cloud。 另外还有Live Platform: Building Mesh Applications与Live Platform: Mesh Services Architecture Deep Dive.。 Windows 7场次也透露了产品的方向，跟Win 7相关的场次包括Web services in native code、Optimizing for energy efficiency and battery life、以及touch computing。 跟Windows Mobile 相关的场次有Location, Location, Location与Optimizing Web development for devices。 该次会议会在微软于旧金山WinHEC（给电脑厂商参加的硬件大会）后一周举办。
